Following the vision and direction of the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates, the country has adopted a pioneering policy based on openness, cooperation and effective engagement with various markets and international economic blocs for mutual benefits and the achievement of  shared goals. This has resulted in strong economic, trade and investment relations between the UAE and most countries in the world.

Through participation in meetings and events organized  within and outside of the UAE, the Ministry of Economy promotes and expands the UAE’s existing economic ties and relations and builds and develops new partnerships that serve the development interests of the country. Furthermore, the Ministry also utilizes such opportunities to increase the UAE’s trade exchanges with  countries all over the world and to support its strategic orientation by increasing economic diversification and by establishing a knowledge economy based on innovation and technology towards a post-oil economy.

The Ministry focuses on enhancing international economic cooperation in vital  sectors and priority areas in  the UAE's development agenda, most notably in the creation of a knowledge-based economy, artificial intelligence, advanced industry, renewable energy, ICT, SMEs, innovation and entrepreneurship. Key economic sectors such as trade, investment, food security, tourism, infrastructure, transport, logistics, financial sector, education, health and others are also areas of interest.

Our meetings with various international partners provide us with opportunities to highlight the UAE’s attractive investment climate, which is complemented by a modern, integrated economic legislation system;  one of the most advanced  infrastructure facilities in the region and the world; and a wide range of innovative facilities and incentives available to investors and businesses.

The Ministry of Economy remains  keen to discover and explore  trade and investment opportunities that are available in the partner countries' markets to achieve mutual benefit. It serves the private sector such as companies and investment entities in the country; promotes cooperation and exchange of experiences; transfer and localization of knowledge and technology; and help us benefit from the best international practices in various economic fields.
