Ministry of Community Development will organise an innovation lab . It is a part of the ministry's programme in Innovation Week, which
aims to propose and offer innovative ideas in support of social work in general
and achieve technological empowerment of the older generation and to protect
them from financial exploitation.

will be gathered and studied carefully for its practicality in implementing and
achieving the technological empowerment of the older generation.
The ministry decided to hold a number of training courses for the elderly on how to use smartphone applications. This will help them to execute their financial transactions by themselves without depending on other people. Transactions include air ticket and hotel booking, bank transfers and following up on their bank transactions. Such training will make them at par with others and integrate them into society. It will raise their awareness and protect them from financial exploitation.
