For this purpose, it created the UAE government performance management system which monitors the government performance for all federal government entities, and develops clear framework for performance to achieve UAE Vision 2021 and National Agenda. The UAE government pays attention to monitoring the sustainable development of performance and that the services provided by the entities can fulfil the peoples’ needs.

On 31 August 2019, H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai published a letter containing six important messages on his official Twitter account. The letter, addressed to the government officials and the public, sets a roadmap for a new season of achievements that would serve the growth of the UAE and the happiness of the people.
Titled 'The Letter of the New Season', Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that the UAE government is a government of achievers and he reminded officials, ministers and leaders to be in the field, amongst people, serving their needs with an open-minded attitude and a good conduct.
The letter touched many other issues including Emiratisation as a national priority and a strict warning against stirring up chaos on social media and jeopardizing the image and the reputation of the UAE.
H. H. expressed optimism for the future and affirmed UAE's position as one of the readiest and most competitive countries in the region and called on Emiratis and the community to focus on advancing the economy.

In July 2019, H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai gave instructions to evaluate 600 government service centres all over the UAE. Sheik Mohamed confirmed that the best and worst five service centres would be declared on 14th September 2019.
On 14th September 2019, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed declared the best five government service centres and the worst five, according to an evaluation report covering 600 centres at the level of the UAE.
H.H. declared that evaluation of service centres would be on annual basis. Furthermore, Ministers, deputy ministers, directors general, ministries and authorities will be evaluated annually and all reports will be declared transparently.
